This was a bad day

I want to share this with you. It's painful. And, I am sharing it because I don't want it to happen to you.

Imagine this…

You're in the midst of 3 of the biggest projects you've ever done in your business. All hands are on deck. Everyone is putting in extremely long hours to pull this off. The deadlines are tight. You're barely making it, but you know you will get there, as long as nothing else goes wrong.

Then this happens…

Your best team member calls in sick. Oh no. That's bad timing, but he'll probably be back tomorrow. He's one of those guys who never gets sick.

You rally the team and everyone works just a bit harder to make up for being one man down.

Then the next day, you get this call…
‘I don't know when I'll be back…they're doing more testing. I'm not sure what's going on. It's pretty serious…'

Even before this happened you were short-handed. Now it's even more critical to find another team member. You're stretched so thin already you don't have time to go through all the hassle of hiring in the middle of everything you're juggling.

Then the next day this happens…
Your newest hire throws in the towel.

‘It's too much pressure. I don't really know what I am supposed to do. No one has time to help me. They just get mad and yell at me when I screw up. I got another offer. It's a couple dollars more an hour. I'm gonna take it.'

WTF?!!!

You throw together your job advertisement and get it out there again. You make a couple of posts in social media. You even offer a 1000 dollar incentive if someone refers an employee to you and…

CRICKETS

Nothing. No applications. No referrals for applicants.

You did get one resume in from that one ad. The guy has zero experience. You'd be starting from scratch if you hired him.

Even if you make it through these 3 projects with what's left of your team, how do you keep going from there?

Your family vacation that's supposed to happen 3 weeks from now…the one that you'd been planning for months … you're probably cancelling that. Your stomach turns as you think of breaking the news to your kids.

This is painful. I don't want it to happen to you, and yet, most likely you are on this trajectory. How do I know this? Because I hear this kind of stuff almost daily from business owners reaching out to me when they are DESPERATE TO HIRE.

If your business is growing and you don't have a SYSTEM for ATTRACTING A STEADY STREAM OF A-PLAYERS you will be here, too, sooner rather than later.

Just last Friday evening, I popped into my office to wrap up one little thing before the weekend, and the phone rang…it was that business owner, in desperate need of a team member, completely burned by bad hires in the past. I took 20 minutes and got her on the right path, and offered more help through my How to Hire the Best™ System.

As I hung up the phone I found myself wishing…what if I could have reached her 2 months ago and she had been putting her system in place to attract A-Players BEFORE she was DESPERATE to hire…the call would have gone very differently…

In fact, she probably wouldn't be calling because business would be humming along — like clockwork — and her hiring system would be working FOR her to bring her the best team members WHEN she needs them.

So that's why,  I created my MASTERCLASS based on my book, How to Hire the Best. Access it now.

And please… spare yourself from being DESPERATE to HIRE 2 months from now.

I hope you take advantage of it AND take action on what you learn.

“We were struggling to find good employees. We’d gone through a lot of employees and were frustrated not only with the lack of applicants we had, but also the quality of the applications coming in.

Because of what we learned from Dr. Sabrina, in just 90 days, we have a team of good employees in place and we continue to get good applications coming in. We’ve been able to expand our hours of operation to accommodate customer requests and our monthly revenue has almost doubled.”
