I just wanted to say a big thank you to you. I signed up for your How to Hire the Best course about a year ago but then decided to pare down my client list rather than hire. With life circumstances, etc. I wasn’t up to growing and hiring employees at that time.
I took the course later and started looking for an employee this summer.
My hiring process was completely different this time. I put so much work into preparing to look for an employee, really communicated with applicants what the culture will be, what is expected of the new hire, etc. It scared off pretty well all applicants (lol!) which at times left me feeling vulnerable & unsure.
But then someone came along who loved all of what I communicated, my goals and dreams for the business, the culture I’m building, etc. I hired her and it’s been fantastic! As I was driving home last night I was thinking about past hires who I felt so much frustration with (who I now realize had completely different immutable laws as I do) and about this hire and how well we work together and complement each other and I wanted to send you a big thank you!
